Walk for Kids' Sake
- When:
- Saturday, October 11, 2008. Onsite registration starts at 8 am Walk starts at 9 am.
- Where:
- Winchester Moose Family Center 215 E. Cork St., Winchester Map it (google maps)
- General Information:
- Obtain as many sponsors as you can and fill in the Sponsor Sheet. You’ll need a minimum of $25 to walk and each walker will receive a T-shirt. The waiver form below MUST be signed and turned in at registration. You’ll turn in the pledges you’ve collected when you register. All pledges not collected need to be turned in by November 1 to BBBS.
- Registration:
- You can pre-register you and your team by filling out the form to the right.
- Awards/Prizes:
- Prizes awarded to the top fundraising participant. Every walker is eligible for door prizes.
- Refreshments:
- Thanks to the Winchester Moose Family Center, food and beverages will be ready for you as you complete the walk.
- The Course:
- You’ll start at the Moose Family Center, walk up Cork Street to Pleasant Valley, winding your way through the east side of Winchester, making your way back down Pleasant Valley and cut over on Jubal Early to Valley Avenue, Braddock Street and back down Cork Street to complete the 6 mile course. There will be check points along the way and at the end you can eat, drink and win a prize!
